Passionate educator and author, Joan Groves, teaches self-discovery through the story of the meaningful saga of a little, prodigal cat in “Where Is My Home?”

Joan Groves seems to be doing well in her quest to encourage as many people as possible, irrespective of the age group, to discover themselves and appreciate the seemingly little things as she narrates the story of Sonic, one of four siblings in the caring household of the Jakes family in Where Is My Home?

“The author tells a fulfilling tale of finding one’s place in the world. A well-written book, the author does a fantastic job of creating a narrative that both adults and children will be able to relate to. Sonic is a beloved children’s book protagonist, showcasing the complex nature of the story’s theme of acceptance and finding meaning and purpose in life.” – Anthony Avina of HOLLYWOOD BOOK REVIEWS

Where Is My Home? is based on the true story of a cat named, Sonic, who traveled 30 miles, overcoming different obstacles, including weather, hunger, traffic, fear, and a host of others to reunite with his family. The case is likened to the story of the prodigal son but this time from the viewpoint of a cat.
